How We Work
The Approach
Targeted remedial massage — not spa, not routine
The Difference
Remedial Massage Is Not Spa Massage
Most massage available in Hua Hin is designed for relaxation — a pleasant, uniform experience with a fixed sequence applied to everyone the same way. That has its place. But it is not particularly useful if you are carrying specific tension from twelve hours at a desk, or tightness through your hips from regular golf, or a persistent ache that keeps coming back in the same spot.
Remedial massage starts from a different question: what does this person actually need today? The answer shapes everything that follows — which areas receive attention, how much pressure is used, which techniques are applied. The session is built around your body on that day, not a pre-written script that everyone receives regardless of what they came in with.
Before We Begin
We Start With a Consultation
Every session begins with a conversation — in English — about what has brought you in.
You tell us what is bothering you
Before the massage begins, Pramaun sits down with you and asks. Where are you feeling it? How long has it been there? Does it come and go, or is it constant? Is it worse after sitting, after exercise, in the morning? Are there areas you want avoided?
This is not a checklist or a form. It is a genuine conversation. The more you can tell him, the better he can direct the work. And because this is conducted fully in English, there is no guessing, no pointing at a diagram, no nodding and hoping you understood each other.
“I finally felt understood at a massage. He actually asked me proper questions and listened to the answers.”
Client, Hua Hin
What we listen for
Pramaun is listening for more than just the location of the pain. He is listening for patterns — what you do all day, how you sleep, what activities you do regularly. Tension rarely exists in isolation. A sore lower back often connects to tight hip flexors. Neck pain frequently relates to how the upper back and shoulders are sitting.
Understanding that context allows him to work on the right areas, in the right order, with the right approach — rather than simply pressing hard on wherever it hurts and calling it done.
If there is anything that needs medical attention rather than massage, he will tell you that too. Honesty about what massage can and cannot do is part of how we work.
During the Session
We Explain What We Are Doing and Why
You are never just lying there wondering what is happening. Pramaun explains as he works.
You understand what is happening
As the session progresses, Pramaun explains what he is working on and why. If he moves to your upper back before your neck, he will tell you that the tension in your neck is likely originating there. If he finds a particularly tight area you had not mentioned, he will point it out and explain what it probably relates to.
This matters for two reasons. First, it means you can give better feedback — you know why he is pressing a particular area, so you can tell him accurately whether it is the right depth, the right location, whether it is connecting to where you actually feel the problem. Second, you leave understanding your own body a little better than when you came in.
Most clients say this is one of the things that surprises them most — that a massage can be genuinely educational without feeling clinical.
Your feedback changes the session
Pramaun checks in throughout. Is the pressure right? Is this area connecting to where you feel the tension? Does this feel productive or just uncomfortable?
This is not politeness. It is how the session is supposed to work. Your feedback — even mid-stroke — allows him to adjust in real time. Too deep, too light, slightly the wrong spot: say so and it changes immediately. There is no awkward power dynamic where you lie there in silence hoping it gets better.
The ability to have that conversation — fluently, in English, without any language barrier — is one of the things that makes this service genuinely different in Hua Hin.
“He told me exactly what he was doing and why — I actually learned something about my own posture.”

Every Session
From Arrival to Leaving
A straightforward, unhurried process from start to finish.
01
Arrival & Consultation
You arrive and Pramaun sits with you. He asks about your specific concerns today — what is bothering you, how long it has been there, any context that helps him direct the work. Conducted in English. Takes as long as it needs to.
02
Targeted Massage Work
The session works on what you have described. Pramaun explains what he is doing and why as he goes. Pressure and technique adjust based on your feedback throughout. Forty minutes of focused, purposeful work — not a general routine.
03
Close & Observations
At the end, Pramaun tells you what he found — areas that were particularly tight, anything worth watching, whether a follow-up session is likely to help. Honest observations, not upselling.
Common Reasons People Book
What People Typically Bring to a Session
Not a medical service — a skilled wellness practice that many people find helpful for the following
Neck & shoulder tightness
Accumulated from desk work, driving, stress or poor sleep posture. One of the most common presentations and often very responsive to focused massage work on the surrounding muscle groups.
Lower back tension
Tightness through the lumbar region, hips and glutes — often worsened by prolonged sitting. Targeted work on the relevant muscle groups can release the holding patterns that build up over weeks.
Golf & sport fatigue
Repetitive swing patterns, walking courses and training loads create predictable tension in specific muscle groups. Massage work addresses the areas that sport loads most heavily.
General muscle stiffness
Stiffness that builds gradually — in the mornings, after travel, or after long periods of reduced movement. Often responds well to systematic massage work through the affected areas.
Office & posture fatigue
Screen work, fixed postures and the accumulated tension of remote working create a recognisable pattern through the upper body. Regular sessions can interrupt the cycle before it becomes chronic.
Stress-related tension
Many people carry stress physically — in the jaw, shoulders, chest and upper back. Massage does not remove the source of stress, but it can meaningfully reduce the physical toll it leaves in the body.
